Peyton Manning enjoyed arriving a day late to join his AFC teammates during Pro Bowl week. It was a Super Bowl champion's privilege and rite of passage, one he had witnessed first-hand and envied during his past six Pro Bowl trips to Hawaii.
"No disrespect to the Chicago Bears, but it was a dominating performance by the offensive line," Manning said of the game.
The Colts' Super Bowl breakthrough happened in large part thanks to Manning's bodyguards, led by Pro Bowl center Jeff Saturday and Pro Bowl tackle Tarik Glenn. Indianapolis' Five Horsemen also paved the way for running backs Joseph Addai and Dominic Rhodes, whose combined 190-rushing-yard reign in a torrential Super Bowl rain enabled the Colts to rein in their first crown in 36 years.
